I came back to the sublet today after work and the door to our floor was open, but I thought: “That’s okay the electrician is supposed to come and make our electricity work.” It was not the electrician, rather two cleaning ladies making the place all clean for… future residents? I’m not really sure. Obviously I did what any self-assured 21 year old male would do and quietly said ‘hi’ before shuffling off to my room and not going to pee because maybe they would be in the middle of cleaning the bathroom or I would be roped into a conversation with them and then it would be awkward. I overheard one of them say the above quote.
